The hotel is small, but the rooms are tastefully decorated and the beds are good. Breakfast is particularly nice - served on the terrace if weather permits - and consists of a choice of salty and sweet things. We loved the boiled eggs as they came with a hand-drawn smiley face : One can explore the town of Plau by walking, and observe the impressive elevating bridge right next to the hotel. Loved everything about it. The spaciousness of the apartment, the decor, bright from all sides, the view.
Great location. Would definitely stay there again. Family run. Great history of creating their dream. Restaurant options on site. Friendly staff. Perfect place to start one of the river cruises. Restaurants and historical centre all in easy walking distance. I enjoyed an excellent meal of wild boar in the restaurant.
My room in the hotel was of a really good size. Wifi signal was excellent. Also no problem with parking free of charge at the hotel. Very good dinner, breakfast was a joke, less than standard for the price, rooms are ok but not more than standard.
